As Goose Creek's new Economic Development Director, Rob Wiggins has his sights set on not only attracting new business to the surrounding area, but to also keep folks in the state's eighth-largest city by making it their number-one choice for their service needs. The latter goal, of course, implies backing retail venues throughout The Creek and even offering advice to first-time or less experienced merchants who are trying to make their way in a competitive arena. Wiggins' industry knowledge as it pertains to retail operations is based on nearly 15 years of workforce development that saw the Marion native run a youth and apprenticeship program as an employee of Trident Technical College.
