A consummate performer in both the classroom and community recently earned her just recognition in the form of $63,877 — or roughly 86 percent of her college tuition — in financial aid and scholarship funds. The Berkeley Soil and Water Conservation District (BSWCD) formally announced Cailey Richkowski of Goose Creek as this year's recipient of the organization's college scholarship at their March 21 public meeting at the Old Santee Canal Park Learning Center in Moncks Corner.  "As far as I can tell, she did meet all the qualifications," said Conservation District Chair Diane Edwins, as she rattled off the Goose Creek High School senior's unique list of accomplishments for a youngster in her age bracket.
