After hearing multiple objections from townsfolk regarding a proposed mixed-use endeavor at 117 Red Bank Road at the April 11 City Council meeting, Mayor Gregory Habib and his government colleagues approved a zoning change to facilitate construction, stating that development is the best use for the property in question.  In response to traffic and flooding issues cited by residents in the surrounding areas of Cuthbert Drive, Hastie Drive and Pandora Drive, Beazer Homes Land Development VP Tom Wallington appeared at the Tuesday night session with a team of architects and engineers to help shed light on the undertaking set to usher in 71 single-family units and 71 town homes over approximately 34 acres.
