KNOX — Matthew S. Von Haugg was a loving, caring, and hardworking family man. He died unexpectedly at his home in Knox on Friday, April 21, 2023. He was 55. He was born on March 28, 1968 in Albany to Mark and Patricia Von Haugg. He grew up in his family's home in Knox with his parents and three siblings — Mark, Morgan, and Amanda. He graduated from Berne-Knox-Westerlo Central School in 1986 and went on to Wyoming Technical School where he acquired his trade skills in heavy-equipment mechanics.
