PAMLICO COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - Public game lands in Pamlico County grew by over 400 acres recently when the North Carolina Coastal Land Trust purchased a waterfront property in the county. The purchase was made through a partnership with the National Wild Turkey Federation, the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission, and the North Carolina Division of Coastal Management. Once the purchase was complete the trust transferred the land to the State of North Carolina to expand Goose Creek Game Lands.
