It was announced the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office lead a multi-agency warrant and crime sweep on the evening of Aug. 5. The sweep ended with numerous arrests for various crimes. Some of those arrested were wanted on warrants from the upstate, others where trafficking drugs or had illegal weapons, according to the Sheriff's Office. The sweep focused on, what the agency called, priority warrants and conducted heavy traffic saturations in the Goose Creek, Huger and Summerville areas of the county.
