Six Berkeley County School District football programs are among the eight slated to participate in the sixth annual Moncks Corner Lions Club jamboree Friday, Aug. 11 at Berkeley High School. Admission is $10. Five and under admitted free. The home and visiting stands will come to life with the opening kick at 6 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m. Each contest is set for two quarters. Cane Bay and Hanahan spark the event, followed by Goose Creek and Andrews in the second period. Stratford encounters Colleton County in the third period and the host Stags tangle with Philip Simmons in the finale.
