FILE GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a car Tuesday night in Berkeley County. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 7:15 p.m. on Red Bank Road, which is about two miles north of Goose Creek. Master Trooper Brandon J. Boltthe said the driver of a 2012 Yamaha motorcycle was traveling north on Red Bank Road as a 21-year-old driver of a 2005 Chevrolet Corvette traveled south. As the driver of the car attempted to turn left onto Harbor Lake Drive, Boltthe said the motorcyclist struck it.
